Good Day Everyone and we hope you are enjoying the Beautiful Fall Weather we have been blessed with lately! The Governing Board of the Bergen Church felt it was time for a short update and short questionnaire to make sure we are fulfilling your needs. We would really appreciate you taking the time to respond to it for everyone’s benefit.

We have been meeting for a few weeks now and done our best to work through the Suggestions from the Chief Medical Officer – Plan to Protect – and our Insurance

  1. Arrive no more than 15 minutes early.
  2. Adhere to 6ft social distancing, and please refrain from shaking hands and hugging.
  3. Hand sanitizer is available entering and exiting the church. Masks will be available for anyone wishing to use them. Note if you wish to sing we request you wear a mask for the protection of those around you. (This will also keep folks that are nervous or high risk a little more comfortable).
  4. We have moved the seating rows farther apart and would appreciate if each family group would leave an empty seat between them. We would appreciate if you would fill seats from front to back.
  5. Children are required to stay with their parents at all times.
  6. There is Children’s Church time starting and announcements regarding where and when will be made in the service. Please have only one parent taking children and leave a space in hallway as you sign in.
  7. The Toddler room and the Kitchen are all out of bound areas so please refrain from using or going to these areas for the time being.
  8. The washrooms will be open, but the hallway will be monitored by ushers and only 2 people will be allowed in the washroom at a time. We ask that there be no visiting in the hallway. Please wash your hands and reuse sanitizer following bathroom use. It is suggested that children use the washroom just before leaving home to decrease the need for washroom use while at church.
  9. When the service is finished we would appreciate if congregants would exit the church from rear to front in an orderly manner. We ask that once outside you respect the social distancing requirements.
  10. There will be no coffee or snacks served after or during services at this time.

We are sorry for such stringent rules, but we are required to follow them as set out by Government regulations and our Plan to Protect® and Insurance requirements.
